Option to Turn Off Case Sensitivity in DataTable Lookup

For example, if I am using an email address as the unique identifier, the cases have to match for it to sync correctly. No one ever gets the case right on an email address which is inherently, unique. This is making DataTable extremely unreliable. Please improve this functionality and either remove case sensitivity all together, or implement and on/off option.
