Is there a way to keep formatting from a word file (bullets/symbols) when pasting into description?

We're trying to build forms that have a guideline in the description. These guidelines are already built in word and when we paste them into the Form description the indent and symbols aren't following.

Is there a way to make this format correctly?

Or

Is there a way to include an image in the Description section of the form? We like the side by side view so adding it to the form as a header is not an option.

What it looks like on the left is what we'd like the formatting on the right in the Forms.

@Christopher Tirro the descriptions aren’t rich text formatted so you’re stuck with basic character returns and spacing. No images. The only fancy attribute is the ability to use emoticons like 👍 or ❤️, etc. I’ve built fairly sophisticated user interfaces using the emoticons in the descriptions, column titles, and in the cells themselves. There are thousands out there that Smartsheet accepts (search for emoticon list), and within the cells you can use the UNICHAR function to visualize them, but I now usually just paste the actual character in, which works just as well.

  • Thanks - I'll check those out. It would even just be nice if the Bullets 'changed' when indenting a second/third/etc time.
