Help with creating a dashboard
I am needing to create a dashboard for the sheet I have listed below. The employee owner and task associated columns are both drop down columns and I am needing to create one chart for each employee to show the amount of hours for each task associated. For example, I want a chart for Vince Greco that reflects a total amount of panel build hours, redlines hours, PTO hours, and training hours and a separate chart to show the same for Aaron Cooper. Can someone help me out with exactly how to create this?

I have done similar charts by first creating a report that filters just for the desired employee, in this example, Greco. You will want to Group the report by 'Task' and then Summarize the report w/ Sum of 'Hours'. The end result should look something like this:
Once you have the report showing the data you want, you will build your dashboard chart by selecting the Report, not a range from the sheet. When you do, you will get something like this:
