Cannot download free templates

Hi - I recently signed up for Smartsheet and intended to use a paid version; however, I cannot download any of the free templates available. I'm trying to download personal goals templates but they are not available when I'm signed into Smartsheet. How can I open a free template in Smartsheet instead of downloading to Excel?
