Problem moving rows within a sheet
Hello. I am experiencing problems with a simple select and move of any row within a sheet. In the screenshot below I have highlighted row 2002 and am looking to drag it down to between 2006 and 2007. However it ends up being placed between 2003 & 2004 (where you can see a faint blue shading). This is really annoying as I often have to guess the destination each time as it doesnt always fall on the shaded line. Usually the solid blue line and the faint blue shading are close to each other and move together but as you see below in this sheet they dont. Theres 2 levels of indents as you see, but not sure if this is relevant.
Has anyone else had this problem. I am now using Control + X then Control + V as a workaround would prefer the simple drag and drop that used to work until a few weeks back (cant think of any event that may have caused this)
I am using a Chrome browser Version 119.0.6045.200 (Official Build) (64-bit)

Hey @stuartr
I haven't seen this before, thank you for sharing! A few things to check here:
- What are your browser Zoom settings configured as when you're using Smartsheet? (See: Best practices for browser zoom)
- How complex is the sheet you're accessing? I'm wondering if the sheet is reaching certain performance limits which is why the blue line is lagging behind. (See Issue: Smartsheet is continuously loading, not responding, or not displaying certain items)
Cheers,
Genevieve

hi @Genevieve P. thank you for responding.
zoom settings - 100%
complexity - 2200 rows with nesting to 3 levels - Im guessing this might be the issue
I took a look at the help articles too.
