Interactive Dashboard Pie Chart
Does anyone know if I can build a pie chart that will adjust to a different months data with a dropdown in the Dashboard? I have a pie chart for level of service on a certain highway for a certain direction and shoulder per month. Instead of having 12 pie charts, one for each month, I was hoping to have a dropdown where the viewer can select what month they are interested in and the pie chart would update. Ideally the user could select multiple different items to filter the pie chart: Options being Highway, Direction, Shoulder, Month

Unfortunatly this is not a capability currently in dashboards.
Workaround would be to have filters that users adjust in the report you are using to feed the dashboard.

Hi @Stacy1624
I hope you're well and safe!
Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

I misread the question. I've actually developed something like this for another client. There are two options to solve it, both of which are fairly advanced.
- Submit the form to select the criteria, and refresh automatically after the form is submitted.
- Dropdown in the dashboard to select criteria, manual refresh
Make sense?
Which one would you prefer?

@Andrée Starå
Thank you! I would prefer the second option listed - dropdown in dashboard to select criteria with a manual refresh. I found antoher Utube by Prodactive that may walk me through creating this. If you have guidelines that are easy to share I would appreicate them too!

@Andrée Starå Both are interesting, but somehow manual would seem more preferable to me.

The link @MPath provided above was exactly what I was looking for and I created what I needed. Thank you both for the input!
