Changing the created date

I am currently in the process of creating an automation to clear cells and re-enter the request - like new- but cannot change the created date, is there a way to alter that? Such as the new created date would be when it would enter the sheet not the original created date for the request? want to be able to track the teams SLA for request even if we needed to reject a request.

Would it mess up anything if you used the automation to create an actual new row? And then delete the original row.

What @Courtney S. says, or, if not, could you add a new column for re-request date and have the automation populate that date when it runs? In any calculations you could use an IF to use the original creation date if the re-request date is blank.
