Request Update Automation for Multi-select contact list column

If the 'Request Update Automation' is sent to multi-select contact list column and if one user from them has responded to the workflow then the workflow should stop and should not allow other users to make any changes or attach any attachments.
This is very critical for one of the customers where upon receiving the Purchase request, they would ask the Vendors for some updates and attachments. For 1 vendor, the request will go to 2 or 3 people so if one person is on leave the other can respond to that request. Hence if 1 person has already updated and attached then the other should get a message that the same has been done and no more changes are allowed.
The same is not available now and everyone can make changes and attach files. Please incorporate the same as that will be useful for our customers. Thanks.
