Question about Sum Function

Hi all - I met an interesting bug when using sum formula in Smartsheet. I used sum function to calculate the total of above 6 cells. It should show 6, not 2.

Each cell except the last total is using formula to calculate sum of each row. I use "+" because feb-28 and Feb-29 are added temporarily.

Only Feb 28 & Feb 29 columns have numbers for now.

Wondering why the sum function does not add all numbers together.

Some of your numeric entries may be evaluating as text for some reason. Try this formula to be sure:

SUM([Mar-1]@ROW:[Mar-31]@ROW) + VALUE([Feb-28]@row) + VALUE([Feb-29]@row)
