Contacts not Showing up in alert someone automation
I am trying to set up an automation within one of my work books. But when i go into automation and set up to alert someone. The contact is not showing as an option to send the alert too. Their names/emails are set up correctly in my Smartsheet contacts and within the Contact list i created within the workbook

Double check your automation permissions. If you go into the main automations menu and then click the cog icon in the top right corner, you should be able to see the permissions. If they are set as anything other than "Unrestricted", make sure the user is appropriately set up.

Hi,
I am aware of that issue however i'm unable to even get that far. The emails/ names are not showing up when trying to enter then in the Add a name or Email Section of the pic below

alert some one, Send to specific people Custom ever day until a date is reached

I meant the settings that you have based on the screenshot I provided.

In the workflow, change "Send to specify people" to "Send to contacts in a cell", then your contact columns will show up.

@Gia Thinh That would work if they wanted it to be variable, but they have mentioned a couple of times and included in a screenshot that they are trying to select a specific person.
