Project Template Metadata

Hello, I have figured out how to fix the references to the project intake sheet. I understand that the information will flow from the intake sheet to the metadata. My question is, can you set up links from the project plan back to the metadata (that will copy with each project) back to the intake sheet?

What i am trying to accomplish is having the intake sheet be the overarching portfolio information - so each time a teammate updates their project plan, it will link back to the intake or metadata - but i do not want to set up those links every time i copy a new template folder. Any help appreciated!

I do not have control center. Confirmed. Calendar, Pivot and data Mesh only. So can you answer the question regarding the links?
