Record Date Update

I have a column where the date is recorded when an automated email is sent which is triggered by a checkbox, "send email". Sometimes. i will need to uncheck the triggered checkbox to resend the email again. Will the record date from the 2nd trigger override what was initially recorded?

Yes. The record date part of the workflow will record the date from each trigger. If the workflow is triggered more than once, the last time it is run will be the value in your cell.
