Copying Dashboards to a second Workspace

Currently, I have a Workspace (I will call Workspace 1) that has been shared with others. However, I want to create a second Workspace (Workspace 2) that only includes viewable dashboards from Workspace 1 (no sheets, reports, etc). I want this Workspace 2 to only be able to be viewed not edited. If I put the dashboards in Workspace 2, will these dashboards be automatically updated when sheets and reports are updated in Workspace 1? Please advise.

They will still be tied to the source data regardless of where they are in relation to the source data.
