Use a picture as an icon and then when you click it's bigger?

I want to use a detailed picture, but it's really busy on the dashboard. Ideally I would use a smaller version of it as an 'icon' on the dashboard, and when they click it would be a larger version of it. Any ideas from the brain-truss?

You can add it as a picture widget, set to "fill" and then resize as needed. If you double click the image, it will open a larger version.
