Smartsheet Checkbox

Options

Hi All! Thank you for your help in answering my question : )

I am wondering if there is a way to have a column filled with dates on one Smartsheet. And if the date is filled on this Smartsheet, have it presented as a checked box on a new Smartsheet.

Essentiallly rather than our executive team looking at a bunch of dates and numbers, I am looking for it to be presented as a simple checkbox on a separate sheet accessible by our executive team.

Thank you for your expertise!!

Jessica

    Hi @Jessica R

I hope you're well and safe!

Yes, but can you elaborate and share some screenshots? (Delete/replace any confidential/sensitive information before sharing) That would make it easier to help.

    I hope that helps!

Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

    Hi @Jessica R

Assuming that the task name/unique identifier is available in both sheets then you should be able to use an IF formula with INDEX MATCH or INDEX COLLECT (depending on the circumstances of the data you are trying to match up with).

It would be along the lines of:

    =IF((INDEX({Date Completed}, MATCH({Unique Identifier}, [Unique Identifier@row}),0) + "") = "", 0, 1)

But as Andree said above to give any more help it would be useful to see a sanitised version of your data for context.
