Formula Needed!

Hi!

I am needing a formula that will count the number of occurrences month to date of a specific data point. I am working on a dashboard for complaints and I am wanting to have a formula on my master sheet that will calculate the number of regulatory complaints we have received month to date that will update with new submissions received.

=COUNTIFS({DATE}, IFERROR(MONTH(@cell), 0) = MONTH(TODAY()))

You will want to add the specific data point in the COUNTIFS as well
