Showing information from Smartsheet A in Smartsheet B
Hi there,
Is it possible to exactly show information from a source smartsheet to a destination smartsheet?
Scenario -
- I have two smartsheets with exactly the same column headers.
- One smartsheet is for the whole portfolio and displays a lot of information, currently information is copied into it from the second smartsheet which contains a specific subset of information.
Is there a way to automate this in smartsheet? It looks like you can link a row but if you add new information to the second smartsheet (lets say as an ident underneath an existing task) then this will not be reflected in the main smartsheet.
V Lookup isn't really what I want as that is more for specific field, I am effectively wanting to update smartsheet b and any changes are also automatically reflected in smartsheet a.

Have you looked into creating a row report?

I think what I need is an automation workflow (copy row to another sheet when a specific action takes place), I cant get it work at the moment but that seems to do what I need in principle

Ok. But why do you need it on another sheet as opposed to a row report?
