Enable lag time to come from a cell

I think that I have asked this before but I cant find it.

The lag and lead time feature on dependencies is very useful but it is not easily visible or obvious to update.

We encounter lags all the time, the common bad practice is to extend the duration. What should happen is that a lag value is added in the predecessor column. However I would like to see what the lag is without having to interpret the value from the predecessor column.

Ideally I would like to have a column where I can enter a lag value and then a formula in the predecessor will pick that value up for that row.
