Color Coding for Calendar View

I need my calendar view to be color coded without having to manually change the color in card view. Has anyone figured out how to automate the colors?

Use conditional formatting and make sure to change the task bar color as seen below:

Hello - have you tried setting up conditional formatting? There is an option for Task Bar that would show a color in card view.
