How do I set a task dependent on availability of a customer resource

I want to set a group of tasks dependent on the availability of a lab. I do not have the advanced resource management capability. I cannot use non-working days as this affects all activities on the plan. Other options?

Can you explain a little more what it is you're looking to do? It would be helpful to have screen captures of your source sheet, but please block out sensitive data.
