Making a Smartsheet Dashboard Public
I am working on a request to create a dashboard that can be viewed without logging in. I created the dashboard and set the access control to "Available to anyone with the link". However, it still requires users to log in using their Smartsheet credentials to view it. Is it possible that the System Administrator has disabled publishing at the organization level?
Thank you for your help!

Hi @Asha Krishnan You can publish the dashboard from file and enable the access control as required. Enable the first one, Available to anyone with link.

@darshan That worked! Thank you for outlining the steps. I appreciate your help.

I published with the option below… but it is requesting the user to sign in to see it which is not what I expected - why do I need to use option 1 and expose the information to (potentially) viewers outside of the organisation?

Hi @Jenni
The sign-in process is how the published link identifies who is trying to look at the link. Without signing in, that user could be anyone on any plan so the security setting blocks their view.
If they sign in but they're not a part of your Smartsheet plan, their view will still be blocked. This can only be identified once the sheet/URL knows exactly who it is that's attempting to access the data.
