Sharing with a client without Licenses

Helo, I am attempting to share workspaces with a client that does not use Smartsheet normally. Some of the team members do not have licenses or have used their free trial already and cannot access what we need them to. Is there a way they can extend a free trial or access the workspace without having a full smartsheet account?

Anybody can use Smartsheet with an unlicensed (free) account, to view and edit something that exists. In short, you only need a license to create something new in Smartsheet.

If you want to make it even easier (but possibly open up to more issues - depending on what data you're sharing) you can publish Smartsheet items.

Thank you for the response. How do I ensure they are being shared as a free collaborator? Is there an additional step in sharing?

No, ensure you're sharing it with access that doesn't need a license.

Also, which Smartsheet license do you have?
