Good afternoon! I am wondering if SmartSheets has email automation that sends an email to a client whenever they submit a form. For instance, we have a Marketing Request Form on smart sheets, is there a way to set up an automation where the person who submits the form receives an email from my team basically saying your request has been received and a member of our team will follow up with you soon. Please advise.

You could try customising the reply they will automatically get after submitting the form, and also enable the 'Send Email of Submission' option with your message above?

I totally agree with @Gillian C above!

You may also want to than about setting up alerts or update requests to email info to submitters later on in your workflow if your team will change status or other details on the original submission that you may want to inform those folks of! You will need to make sure you are collecting the submitters’ email if you want to be able to easily do these follow ups further in the workflow.

If you haven't had a lot of experience with automations yet, it is super useful and I'm happy to schedule time to review some of the potentials with you in real-time, but hopefully this basic "Alert" automation example will inspire you a bit as to what you can do for steps that are beyond the initial submission for which Gillian gave you the primo response!
