Form Drop-down List - Strange Behavior

I have a form that is pulling in a drop-down list of over 50 items from a sheet. As the form user selects items from the drop-down list, the item disappears from the choices left in the drop-down list. This happens consistently in the forms/sheets that I have created in the past.

For some reason, there are 6 out of the 50+ items in the list that remain visible in the drop-down after they are selected in the form; making it confusing for the user as they have already selected those items but they still appear as needing to be selected. They do appear in the window of items selected but also in the drop-down of items available to be selected.

Has anyone had this happen before? I don't know why only a few items in a form drop-down don't behave like most of the others.

No Duplicates, trailing or leading blank spaces or Logic in place?

No duplicates or spaces. Did put a "- " in front of each of them as a bullet as they were long and wrapped. No logic. I think that I will re-enter the list and see if the problem persists.

How are you removing them as they are being selected?

It just seems to be the behavior of the dropdown list in the form. Is it not typical that, in a form, the selected item moves from the dropdown list to the "selected field"?

I think that I have seen that in all of our Smartsheet forms and even in this one except for several items will not disappear from the dropdown list once added to the selected list.

Are you able to provide screenshots. Maybe I am misunderstanding what you're referring to.
