No that doesn't answer my question, but let me rephrase it since I'm not doing a good job explaining. I have already restricted the date by selecting the arrow you pointed at for the date column. However, I am trying to restrict TIME (AM/PM ONLY) and not have any dates in another column at all written…
For example:
Time (AM/PM ONLY) Column
5/22/24 2 PM (Sometimes a person will write down date in the time only column when we don't want the date written)
Thank you for your help and time.
Can you restrict columns to write only time/contact?

I know that we are able to restrict columns to write contacts only. However, for some reason even if I have the contacts listed, they still write down their email instead of selecting the contact drop down lists. Why is it not restricting properly?
How would you restrict a certain column for the person to input time only (AM/PM only) format? I want to prevent people from typing in dates in that specific column instead of typing the date or anything else/military time.
Thank you for your time and help!

Ok.
I recommend adding the time options in a dropdown and locking it so that the user can only select from that list.
07:00 AM
08:00 AM
09:00 AM
10:00 AM
11:00 AM
12:00 AM
01:00 PM
If the times can be anything, you could split it into multiple columns and then collect it together. (Hour, Minutes, AM/PM)
Make sense?
Would that approach work?

Hi,
I hope you're well and safe!
It could be a set dropdown list with options, or you could have a formula check the structure and show a message if it isn't correct.
Would that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic week!

I have restricted it to contacts only, with names written already.
Do you happen to know how what formula to write to restrict dates only?
Thanks Andree!
