How can I get the total amount from our Material Costing and add automatically on our Job Analysis
Hi, I have a Material Costing Sheet with our daily invoices that have different customer names and invoice amounts. I want to get the total of the invoice amounts per customer and auto-populate them on the Material Cost column under our Job Analysis Sheet.

Hey @Tyler Dickman,
You should be able to use the =SUM() function in the Job Analysis Sheet. If you want to reference data from a different sheet, click this link when typing the SUM function:
Then just select the whole column containing the invoice amounts and it should provide the sum.
Hope this helps!

Hi, There are different names for each invoice and I want to match the amount with the same names. Is that possible?
-
Is it supposed to be =SUMIFS(({Material Costing Per Customer Range 2}), MATCH({Material Costing Per Customer Range 3 "Customer", Column 1 "Customer Name}))?
I want to Match and sum all the invoices with the same customer name from another reference sheet to the job sheet.

Hi,
I hope you're well and safe!
Here's the syntax and more details.
It should look something like this. (Update column name and ranges to match yours)=SUMIFS({Material Costing Per Customer Range 2}, {Material Costing Per Customer Range 3 "Customer"}, Customer@row)
Did that work/help?
I hope that helps!
Be safe, and have a fantastic weekend!
