Did that work out for you? Just want to make sure I am not leaving you hanging!
Since you are new to Smartsheet, I thought I would share this with you.
If you navigate to Create and search from template, there is a template that has some very good tools within it on formulas. (screenshot below) I have it saved under my favorites for easy access.
Let me know if you need further assistance.
