Does the Request an Update field in Workflows/automation have the ability to make fields required

I am looking for a way to make fields required in the Request an Update form that gets emailed once triggered in Workflows. I know this is capability is available in the initial form but I am unable to find a way to do this as a workflow.

That is not currently possible, but it would be awesome if we could do it. Feel free to browse the Product Ideas tab at the top of this page. If you find the idea already submitted, you can add your vote. If you can't find it, you can submit it yourself to let SS know you are interested in this feature.

Unfortunately, it's not possible now, but it's an excellent idea!

Please submit this as a Product Feedback or Idea (If it hasn't been added already) when you have a moment.

Here's a possible workaround or workarounds

- You can add a Workflow that triggers as long as not all of the required fields have been filled, sending them an Update Request.

Thank you, @Ncudney , I have upvoted it! I also would suggest using Dynamic View as a workaround. Here, you can have folks update rows and make certain fields required in order to save their updates. I feel that Dynamic View can help in many of these cases, but maybe not necessarily everything!

Dynamic View is a premium app, so not everyone may necessarily have access to it.
