Saving report view as default
I have created a report to report out from 36 sheets and have it filtered to show only one department. I would like this report view to be saved and shared with the department. Is there a way to save this view as the default when opening the report?

No way to make a 'default' other than not allowing admin access to anyone else.
You could make as many reports as you wanted though for each department. Or if there is a contact type column that is associated with a particular department, you may be able to use the "Assigned to has any of current user" filter combo to build only one report.
