Can i keep columns locked while requesting a row update

I need user to view many rows, but only have ability to edit several columns. I locked the columns in the sheet; however when i tested…it appears the user can still edit the column values when they receive the row update form via email. How can I enforce the locked columns, while still giving visibility/read access to only those columns and have them edit other columns in the row?

    Hey @lorihughes

There has been a similar conversation on a previous request, check it out here - the conversation was the reverse of what you are asking (i.e. they wanted users with Admin permission to be able to edit whereas you do not), but the answer and insights are the same. I hope this helps!
