Approval workflows | Missing approval button in the approval email
Dear Smartsheet Community,
We created an approval workflow that was working well. Recently, we noticed that when an approval request is triggered, the YES and NO buttons in the approver email are missing. Initially, we suspected this might be due to the new Outlook system, but our tests ruled this out. Has anyone experienced a similar issue or knows how to restore the YES/NO buttons in the approver email?

Click on Open request button to open the approval page

Dear Gia, the form itself had a button to approve it without the need to open the item in smartsheet itself. Has this function been disabled? Thats what i am trying to figure out.

It doesn’t open in Smartsheet- it opens a short web form with the buttons. As far as I know, it’s always been like that, at least the last three years.
