Smartsheet Card View: Have to click "Cancel" to close a card?

I thought it was just me, but a colleague asked me today if something changed regarding how you can exit the "Detail" view window you see after double clicking a card in "Card View".

You have to actually click the "Cancel" button in the window, but we both feel like there used to be an "X" in the top right… or that maybe you could just click the background outside of the card details and it would return to the full "Card View" screen.

Am I imagining this? Or did something recently change?

You're not imagining things, the Edit window did previously have an X in the top right corner as shown in the video on this Help Article: https://help.smartsheet.com/learning-track/level-1-get-started/card-view

I'm checking to see if this is an expected change or not. In the meantime, do keep using the "Cancel" button to close the pop-up Edit window, and thanks for posting about your experience!
