Project intake sheet =/= Metadata

Hello!

We are currently creating items on our project intake sheet for all of our tasks. We also have project folders. What I'm trying to do is if a task from my intake sheet relates to a project folder, I want to copy the project ID into the project metadata sheet. From there, what?

I've researched other posts to set up in smartsheet templates as well as updating control center blueprints to have them talk to each other. I am totally lost.

Are you using the premium add-on Control Center, or are you using the core product?

I'm not sure, our organization has recently partnered with SmartSheets for our project management. We have the most basic license right now, so I'm assuming the core product.

In that case you are unfortunately stuck with a manual process.

Can you share what this process looks like since it will be manual?

You would go into the metadata sheet and either manually type it in or create a cell link to the intake sheet.
