The best mentor experience I have had is with a peron who understood my abilities well, and could see a future oppourtunities that would be a good fit for me, and then did a lot of listening and encouraging to help me move in a good direction. By putting themselves in their mentee's shoes, empathetic mentors can provide personalized guidance, support, and encouragement.
