Is there a way to automatically capture the Active Directory User Principal Name with a form?

I have a form that is filled out by users who don't have Smartsheet licenses, so they can't log in to Smartsheet. I want it to automatically capture the User Principal Name, which is the ID that the user used when logging on. Is there a way to do that? I have created a "Created by" column, but all it captures is "web-form@smartsheet".

Hi @Dryden18,

You cannot capture the Active Directory account natively in Smartsheet. You can however capture the Smartsheet username for Form submissions by selecting the option in the settings. It will require a user to be logged into Smartsheet in order to submit the Form. If you add a "Created By" type column to your sheet, you will see who submitted each row.
