I've searched this and it looks like users have been asking about this since 2016. That's eight years!
I'm not interested in workarounds. I know several, and none of them are efficient when dealing with hundreds of thousands of cells in hundreds of sheets.
My team has been using Smartsheet daily for years. Once the sheet is connected as a data source, it can't be exported and replaced without breaking other dependencies. Sorting by color would make certain operations efficient and painless.

Looking for this functionality as well. Surprised that what is a "standard" function in Excel hasn't been rolled out here. I would prefer to NOT add another column to an already cumbersome sheet and filter by a text value.
