How to do multiple/mass uploads of attachments
I currently use Smartsheets for recruitment purposes to share resumes with our team. I am having to go row by row and add individual resume attachments for each candidate and it is very manual and time consuming when I can be sharing 50+ to a team.
Is there a better/easier way to share multiple documents via SmartSheets and upload them?

Yes, there are more efficient ways to manage and share multiple documents in Smartsheet, especially for tasks like sharing resumes with your recruitment team. Here are some strategies to streamline the process:
1. Bulk Uploading Files
Smartsheet doesn’t natively support bulk uploading of attachments directly to individual rows. However, you can use a combination of features and integrations to simplify the process.
Using the Attachment Column
- Create an Attachment Column:
- Add a new column to your sheet and name it "Resume Link."
- Upload Files to a Cloud Storage Service:
- Upload all the resumes to a cloud storage service like Google Drive, OneDrive, or Dropbox.
- Link Files in Smartsheet:
- Copy the shared links of the resumes from your cloud storage.
- Paste these links into the attachment column you created. This way, you can quickly add multiple files without manually uploading each one to Smartsheet.
2. Use a Form
If candidates or team members are uploading resumes:
- Create a Smartsheet Form:
- Create a form in Smartsheet that allows candidates or team members to submit their resumes.
- Ensure the form includes fields for all necessary candidate information and an attachment field for resumes.
- Share the Form:
- Share the form link with candidates or team members.
- Submissions will automatically populate the sheet, including the attached resumes. (20 documents in a single form submission.)
3. Utilize Smartsheet's Drag-and-Drop Feature
For a slightly manual but quicker method:
- Drag-and-Drop Multiple Files:
- Open the row attachment pane for a row.
- Select and drag multiple files from your computer and drop them into the attachment pane.
- This method can speed up the process compared to uploading files one by one.
Hope this helps!

If you wanted to make it faster/less manual, how would you know which resume to attach to which row? Is there a naming convention that matches them?
