Board View - Filters

Hi,

We have created a sheet to be shared in boardview and want employees to only see the 'current user' filter. When the board view is shared the employee can turn the filter off and see everything on the sheet, which we don't want. Is there a way to stop people turning the filter off?

Hi @ShereeJ,

I'm sure someone from Smartsheet will respond (they are really good about it), but I am guessing they will suggest the "Dynamic View" add-on feature. I doubt there is a way to restrict them from removing the filter if they have access to the sheet.

Sheree - curious, why did you choose the board view versus the card view?

Hi Jef,

I didn't create the sheet, a colleague did and ask me for advise/support. I've not used this view at present, so didn't have an answer to hand.

I have helped him set up a Dynamic view instead.
