Comparing Data Sets

I need to perform data validation between a Source data and a Target data — where the Source data is in a Smartsheet Sheet and the Target data is an Excel export from Workday. If I use data shuttle to upload the Workday file, can Smartsheet check all the cells and identify if there are difference between Smartsheet and Workday?

Today, I'm doing this in Excel with Vlookup. While that works, it's pretty labor intensive based on the size of my data sets. We are trying to automate this a bit and wondered if Smartsheet could do it. We are also looking at Python.
