Formatting and Hot Links in Text boxes in Board View

Hi,

Goal: I need to be able to have a detail field that, in Board View, allows me to place urls, and format content so that links are clickable and content is easier for me and others to understand.

Problem: Although I can add a "Detail" field, Board View doesn't enable formatting or making urls clickable. Please see the attached image.

Potential options: Regarding links, when I change my view to Grid, that hyperlink is clickable. At the very least, links should experience similar treatment in Board view, and all views. Regarding Formatting, I'd like to see an option to enable formatting for a text box. Then the box would have icons that allow me to select text and format. (a bonus would be that I'd be able to use formatting in the Grid view).
