Has anyone built a WorkApp where it can be used as a timeclock to track hourly employees time capturing GPS coordinates? Are there any demos to follow to create it?

The Smartsheet Mobile App has location tracking/capture capabilities that will capture the GPS coordinates into a cell from a form, and will create those coordinates with a hyperlink to Google Maps for viewing in a map.

They also have 3 templates to show off the functionality, although none of these are time trackers.

You could go super simple and just have a form with "Require login" turned on, asking for hours for the day. Users can use their mobile to capture location and hours on the form and submit. Because "Require login" is turned on, you'll have their email address captured in the Created By column. The Created Date column will tell you the date of submission, or you could ask them the date for submissions that happen after the fact.

For a more complex template, there's one in the older template gallery. In Smartsheet click the + sign on the lefthand navigation panel, then View All Templates. Look for the small popup at the bottom right that says "Find Older Templates" and click that. Then search for Timecard and you'll see a template called "Time Card with Automated Approval". Click on the template tile and then click Use to get a copy.

Thank you very much. I will take a look at the older template.
