Why does a Dynamic View Text Box not allow user to scan a QR code as input.

Smartsheet Android App allows the user tools to populate a field such as Lat/Long, QR Scan, photo, image file. But when you go into WorkApp and have a text box to input data you don't get the QR Scan option, even when you expand the input options. Extract Text is there, but we want a user to scan a QR code on an item in front of them and have the QR code string populate the field (such as shown in Sheet view on left side). Am I missing something in how the DV was created?

You're not missing anything - the QR Code scan feature is specific to Mobile devices and sheets/forms (see Differences between the web and mobile app)

Dynamic View does not currently have a mobile-specific version, so even though you're surfacing it through a WorkApp, the functionality will be aligned with the web version. This does mean there currently isn't a way to Scan a QR code in a Dynamic View field through a mobile device.
