Lock rows from myself

Is there any way to lock a column or row so that I can’t edit it without unlocking or at least a warning? Similar to the “protect sheet” function in excel which must be turned off to edit locked cells. At a minimum, a warning that I am editing a locked cell would be great.

You can lock rows by selecting the 3 dots next to the row and then selecting lock.

You can lock columns by right clicking on the column and then selecting lock column.

Unfortunately, when I do this it still lets me edit the data without warning, probably because i am an Admin. Would love a way to lock them even from me, until and unless I unlock it. Or at least a warning that I am changing a locked cell (similar to the warning when you are putting in data that is not validated and it gives you a warning but allows for the admin to proceed.
