Possible to Filter a Column that has Multiple Values per Cell

Hey folks,

Don't know that it is feasible but is there a workaround on creating a Report to filter for just 1 value from a DROP-DOWN list column type that enables multiple values to be selected.

In other words, if the cell itself has more than 1 value and I want to create a report for just 1 of the values because that value also exists throughout my sheet in that column in other cells, how can I filter for just that value for a report. Thx in advance

@VinceA in your report you can add a filter for "contains" then enter the value. So if the cell has one or multiple entries, if that cell contains that value it would include it. Is that what you're asking or did I misunderstand?

Hey Matt, thanks for the reply back.

Correct in that I need to isolate isolate different values for different reports. In order to construct a report for a specific value one would typically use "Contains" or "is Equal to" but that does not help parse the report for that value when using a drop-down that contains multiple values. Doing so results in 0 results. Thus the reason for asking the Community. Thanks for the suggestion.
