Resource Manager - Date or List Pickers - Enable ability to type date

Currently in RM, any date or List picker function you have to physically pick the date or item from list - there is no ability to manually enter the date or to type the list item in the input box and either select if from the already saved record or create a new one. e.g. I have recently had to go back through and enter start dates for all the users for the Capacity view to populate correctly. Since we have been using SS and RM for a couple of years now and there is no other option, I had to use the back arrow on the date picker to click back through each month till i got to January 2021. This was extremely time consuming and providing this functionality would improve user experience. e.g. we have a field on the project which contains the job code for funding. With over 300 job codes, scrolling through the entire list to get to the one I need is counter intuitive. if i could type it in the box, the list could return the result or advise it doesnt exist and create it for me.
