Automation Requirement - Master Sheet feeding Child Sheets
I need to have multiple request forms (with varied questions) that feed in to my team, but I want them to come through a single link with the option to choose the type of request needed. As far as I can tell from researching and reading previous discussions, this can only be done if all of the fields are in one Master sheet.
I have now set that sheet up and created the form with the correct logic, so that part works well.
The next step was to have the information then automatically copy across to a child sheet relevant to the a specific team, as these already exist, and I have ensured that the columns and column names match.
I have tried to use the 'Copy row to another sheet when specific criteria are met' automation; however, whilst this does copy the row and the cells I need, it also copies all of the columns with blank cells in to the other sheet. So, I'm trying to figure out if I am doing something wrong, or if that is just not possible.
Effectively, I need to be able to copy cells that relate to specific columns when a new row is added, from a master sheet in to a child sheet, when the user chooses the relevant request, i.e. 'Maintenance Request'.
Can anyone advise?

You would need the API, the premium add-on Bridge, or a third party app to accomplish this. The copy and move row automations are designed to push all columns whether they are blank or not.
