I'm trying to set this up however its saying when rows are changed AND Account List Approval (column) changes to a specific label from my dropdown list "1st Version Sent".

I only want the approval request to be sent when the value in my column is changed to my dropdown label " 1st version sent." I do not want the approval request to be sent when ANY/Every row is changed. Is that possible?

This is actually the correct setup! When you create a Smartsheet automation, you have to first tell it if you want it to focus on new rows or just rows that are changing (or both). Once you select that, then you can identify what changes you want it to focus on. In this case, you've told Smartsheet that you want it to identify when rows are changing and specifically when a cell in the Account List Approval column has changed to the "1st Version Sent" value. This automation should only be triggered on a row when "1st Version Sent" is selected in the Account List Approval column.

Thank you! I have one additional question. With sending an attachment with the automation can you attach another smartsheet grid on the row to get sent or does it need to be a file other than a smartsheet to attach?
