Data Shuttle
I am trying to build our project using the PMO template. We receive a monthly data report that lists all projects and based on a select criterion, those that meet will be accepted as new projects. I want to automatically add those projects to the intake form to create the master template. I've added the data report as a Smartsheet attachment directly to the intake sheet and completed the Data Shuttle. I've noticed when I nothing is being offloaded and in turn will not update my intake. I'm wonder if it could be due to the data headers on the data report don't align with the data headers on the intake form (example- Intake form has Project ID and data report is something like "Work ID").

Are you able to provide some screenshots for context?

@mcDosse_012 Can you explain your flow a bit more? Is it that you have a sheet in Smartsheet with a list of projects, are offloading a filtered version of that sheet with Data Shuttle, and then want to upload that to another sheet in Data Shuttle?

The idea is taking the items on the Potential Project List and add them to the Master List. I was successful in creating a sheet for the Potential Project List to automatically add the new items on that sheet. But the Master List will need to reflect all potential projects, as we have roughly 3 avenues to view. This is the start of the workflow, to capture all the potential projects on 1 document with the plan of assigning. How can I get the Potential Projects to the Master List without mudding the process?

I would probably recommend forgoing Data Shuttle and either using DataMesh for this process or employing some "Copy Row" automation to add in new rows to your other sheet and some INDEX/MATCH formulas if needed to keep the data in sync.

Thank you for the suggestion. I did land on using the automation to move the rows and adjusting my master copy to align with column names. I appreciate the suggestions and help.

If you choose to go back to Data Shuttle the column names need to match.

@Meg Y Data Shuttle column names do not necessarily have to match. You can use the mapping section in your Data Shuttle workflow to indicate which column should be mapped to where.
