Stop displaying formula when opening a sheet

The first cell in my sheet has a formula because it is a header field. When I open a sheet it always displays the formula. There are several people using these sheets and the formula has been accidentally wiped out. Is there a way to not automatically display this formula?

If the other users are not Admins on the sheet, just lock that row. The other users will still see the formula but they'll be unable to edit it.
