Hi @Shore_24,
It sounds like you may have edited a sheet rather than saving a copy of it/using a template.
If you have a sheet that you’d like to use as a template, you can open the sheet and select File > Save as Template. You can then set a name for the template as well as choosing your options to save with it. When a sheet has been saved as a template, it’s listed with a different icon to sheets - you can see below that the two sheets in the middle (with the names starting “Template of …”) are templates, while the other two are not templates:
Once a sheet has been saved as a template, clicking on it will open a window where you can select “Use Template” which then allows you to select a name for a new sheet and creates that new sheet based on the template. When you create a template from the template gallery, a new workspace is created for that template set. The sheets within the template set are saved as sheets that you can customize, rather than as template sheets. So, if you’d like to keep those sheets as templates that you can reuse, you’d need to save the relevant sheets as template sheets (by selecting File > Save as Template). Alternatively, you can keep them as sheets and use File > Save as New each time you want to create a new sheet from them, but I’d recommend saving them as template sheets so that you and other users can easily differentiate between active sheets and template sheets.
For more information on templates, check out our help article: Standardize and customize your work with Smartsheet templates.
Hope that helps!
Georgie

Thank you , followed above, even had someone else look at it and no matter what I do I cannot access the template "IT Office Relocation". Is there a way I can delete everything and start from the beginning. I saved the sheet with my changes to excel so after I start again I can import it. Jay

Hi @Shore_24 ,
Have you checked your Deleted Items folder? If the template was deleted within the last 30 days you should find it there, and you can recover it to return it to your Sheets folder and then you'll be able to use it again - see Recover a deleted sheet for information on how to do that.
You might also find this article helpful if you want to import your saved sheet from Excel back into Smartsheet: Import files to create new sheets.
Let me know if you have further questions!

Thank you for your assistance. I deleted everything, refreshed the screen and upon reentry I now have access to the original template.
